Hey everybody, Happy Thanksgiving! An especially Happy Thanksgiving to these five real-live turkeys that graced my front lawn and porch earlier this week. They lucked out, since I’m not a hunter and wouldn’t know how to kill one if I tried.

I was going to write a separate post with a complete account of our holiday meal, but decided that I’m going to point you to our sister site hectic-kitchen.com. I don’t know what’s gotten into me, but I’ve started another site for kitchen-related stuff (please don’t tell my high school English teacher I keep using that word, nor my kids’ high school teacher…I’m sure one of them will hit me upside the head).

I’m currently working under the motto “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger”, so I’ve got more hectic-ness than I should. But it’s really fun.
