Conundrum
Mike Vardy of Productivityist and several others have recommended setting the parameters for your year with a series of words to describe what you’re going to focus on. I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I’ve decided to take it two steps further (to the month and then the week) and record a word of phrase that describes the week I’m having.
When I put this on the Hectic-Dad editorial calendar, my intention was to make these positive representations of my week. The idea was to give of positive vibes and all that.
But this week has already proven that my lofty goals and bright ideas are going to take a back seat to my frustration for this week.
So, the word of the week is conundrum. My week has been nothing if not a series of puzzles and riddles. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to solve them with a smart-aleck rhyme or pun. I’ve simple stewed about them and gotten more and more frustrated.
As the week proceeds I’m hoping to unravel my conundrums and turn things around…but for right now I’m sitting on a great big steaming pile of conundrums.
Graphic enough for you?
